The Invisalign Process
When you have decided to have Invisalign, you need to first find out everything about the Invisalign process. This will first involve you making an appointment with Withers Dental today. Once you arrive, the dentist will make an initial examination of your teeth and decide if Invisalign is the best option for you.
When you decide to go forward with the Invisalign process, teeth impressions will be taken, which will become the first set of aligners. This impression will be sent to a dental lab for fabrication and received by your dentist upon completion.
You will then be contacted to have the aligners fitted and instructed on their proper use and care. You will need to ensure that you wear the aligner for at least 20 hours each day for two weeks and then change them out. This needs to continue every 14 days until your teeth straightening is complete.
Besides having the aligners changed out, you need to schedule regular checkups to determine the progress and make adjustments if needed.
